How does visual search work?

1. Analyze and fingerprint: In the first step Piximilar uses sophisticated algorithms to analyze hundreds of image attributes like colour, shape, texture, luminosity, etc, to form a unique visual fingerprint (or signature) for each image.
2. Index: Next these visual fingerprints are arranged by our software into a visual index of all your images - these compact image fingerprints are created quickly and stored efficiently.
3. Search: The fingerprints are used to facilitate searches for similar images using an optimized comparison engine.
