The upcoming CASCON event includes the Technology Showcase, workshops (hands-on learning to tutorials to panel discussions), technical papers, including Best Paper and Best Student Paper awards, and speakers (Keynote and Frontiers of Software Practice presentations by innovators and thought-leaders).

CASCONcamp will also be held during the conference, on the evening of October 28th from 6:30pm - 8:00pm. CASCONCamp is a is an informal meeting where a succession of presenters demonstrate their work in front of an audience. Emphasis is put on working code, technical details and also on social interaction; half of the presentation time is devoted to interaction and questions. This is an ideal venue for sampling some demos before going to visit their associated exhibits at the CASCON Technology Showcase.
