Technical Project Manager

As a Technical Project Manager (client services/project development) you are responsible for the overall delivery of our client software projects in a timely and cost effective manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage software projects
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Idée and company clients
  • Develop detailed project plans, budgets and tasks to achieve project objectives
  • Ensure continuous communication between internal development teams, client teams and consultants
  • Work with internal and external teams to track dependencies, progress and establish overall integration schedules
  • Ensure the development and implementation of required procedures and standards assuring all products provided meet client and company requirements
  • Provides pre-sales support for new opportunities

Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelor degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • 5 years (minimum) experience in project management in technical environments
  • Ability to manage client business issues
  • Ability to manage complex projects and internal and client team members
  • Proven track record of managing a multi-disciplinary team to implement software solutions
  • Clear understanding of all stages in the process of software development, especially technical components
  • Exceptionally strong communication
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to hold people accountable for meeting commitments and getting results, and to manage projects with little supervision
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Project and other project management tools
  • Experience or extensive knowledge in search technologies
  • Bilingualism an asset
