Business Development Manager
In this business development position you will be responsible for identifying and generating new business for Idée in the software industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall sales strategy
- Responsible for identifying a go-to-market strategy in target markets
- Use market and product knowledge and analytical skills to qualify prospects, source new leads and qualify opportunities within named accounts
- Analyze prospects’ business requirements
- Develop and implement an effective sales plan to meet or exceed established sales objectives for medium to large size accounts
- Work with internal resources to develop comprehensive sales presentation materials tailored to the accounts
- Make formal sales presentations to prospective business accounts
- Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all products offered by Idée and awareness of the competition (markets, products, pricing)
- Assist in developing budgets and project estimates
- Prepare and edit verbal and written communications, reports, presentations and budgets
- Manage response to RFI’s and RFP’s
Education and Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years of enterprise software related sales experience with demonstrated over-achievement relative to sales & quota
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent planning skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Experience developing new markets
- Exceptional computer skills
- Experience with complex enterprise sales process
- Relationship-building skills at the VP and above level
- Willingness to travel
- Bilingualism a definite plus (French, German, Japanese)
